Manor Farm was a project taken on by the Prime Build team, based in Wennington, a stones throw from Abbots Ripton, Cambridgeshire. The farm consisted of three 18th century Grade 2 listed barns, ranging from 2-4 bedrooms, with varying levels of restoration required.

Starting in May 2020, the building works included converting using reclaimed bricks and lime mortar and a mixture of Flemish bond brickwork and blockwork with black cladding. All plots had to be raked out and repointing in lime mortar and had new porches installed.

Plots 1 and 3 were conversions with internal walls created and steel beams installed. The creation of openings in the brickwork and rebuilding the gables once the new roofs were fitted. 

Plot 2 had to be knocked down and rebuilt as per the original design due to the listing status, but we were allowed to extend, create and install windows and doors where the drawings showed.
